The strategy is basically to show homeowners that agents’ pulse still beats even when there’s not a sale on the cards.
The simple process is: Let homeowners (specifically those with young children) know that you would like to mail them a personalized letter to their children, addressed from Santa. Once the parent’s give you their details, including the names and ages of their children, you produce a nice, colourful and personalized letter. Next, simply mail it to them.
This creates a massive buzz, as the letters are often shared on social media, and it shows the homeowners that you care about more than just putting a ‘for sale’ sign up. And keep in mind, there’s companies that sell these letters for $10 a piece.
And what a great talking point when you give them a call in the new year to see how their Christmas was.
